He graduated from Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He holds a Diploma of Specialization DESS «Investment Evaluation and Industrial Development", and has completed his postgraduate graduate studies in DEA entitled «Technical progress and social change" from the Sorbonne University. He holds an MPA (Master of Public Administration) from Indiana State University in the USA and a PhD from the AUA.
