Under the Project, legal support is offered to researchers if it is deemed useful to exploit the idea. There are two main areas where legal support is considered useful:

• If granting rights (licensing) in another company is the best way to commercialize the research idea, then legal support will be necessary to achieve such an agreement (and contract).
• If the establishment of a newly created company is the best way to exploit the research idea, then legal support for the establishment of such an enterprise will be given.

The legal support, regardless of the strategy to be followed, will give emphasis on understanding the legal aspects of technology transfer given the complexity of the system, due to the forthcoming change of the operating mode of the entire European intellectual property system by 2015.
